Hi,
I am currently building a webshop using woocommerce and enfold. Unfortunately, some styling is not applied correctly (see background color and color of menu links).
Looking forward to your help.

Thanks for the login details. I see that you are running a caching plugin, what happens if you clear the cache from it, or disable it? Also please try to delete the old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance to see if that makes any difference.

thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
Unfortunately, this did not solve the issue. Is there anything else, I could try? :-)

Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue?
Could you please attach a mockup of what you’re trying to achieve?
Do you mean styles from the theme options do not apply?

the styles are not being applied correctly to the site. The background of the header should not be dark, the link in the nav bar not blue and the background colors of the body should be white.
Here you can see some screenshots. :-)

The background I adjusted for you, please check.

thanks for your help. The background looks fine, but there are still some more issues with the styling.
It seems that some styles are not being applied correctly. See for example the frame around product images or the background color of the menu.

November 20, 2019 at 3:49 pm #1158512Hi MatthiasCordes94,
I am not sure why the changes are not applying. I do not see any errors. Please try overwriting the theme files over ftp and see if the issue persists.

VictoriaNovember 20, 2019 at 5:34 pm #1158551Hi Victoria,
what I did now is going to the wp content -> themes -> enfold folder and replaced all the files. Was that correct?
After that I got an error and deleted and reinstalled the enfold theme. However, the theme still doesn’t seem to work correctly on my site.
Also tried deactivating all other plugins.

Yes, that was correct. It should be working. Can you please deactivate Wordfence for now?

Thank you. I am not sure why settings in the Theme options do not seem to apply. We can help you with the css to adjust all that. Also, please delete this file via FTP
/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold.css?ver=5dde6b5603c24 and try to save Theme options again.Best regards,
VictoriaNovember 27, 2019 at 2:49 pm #1160646Hi Victoria,
I deleted the enfold.css file, made some minor changes to the styling within enfold and saved the settings.
Unfortunately, the enfold styling is still not being applied correctly to some parts of the site. If you can help me that would be great.

MatthiasDecember 2, 2019 at 8:57 am #1161770Hi,
Thank you for the update.
It took us a while, but we found out that there was an invalid hex color value in the General Styling > Footer > Hintergrundfarbe wechseln color option. It was set to “##24201c” — with a duplicate hash tag — and broke the dynamic stylesheet. We removed the extra symbol.

Great, everything is working again! Impressive, how one tiny typo can break the the complete styling of a page. I am curious, how did you find the error?
Thank you guys for your help.

MatthiasDecember 3, 2019 at 3:23 pm #1162223Hi,
You’re welcome!
I am curious, how did you find the error?
We looked for the css code that is supposed to apply the background color to the mobile menu. It’s in the dynamic stylesheet or the wp-content > uploads > dynamic_avia > enfold.css file and when we found it, we noticed the invalid color value, so we adjusted it from the Enfold > General Styling panel.
Best regards,
Ismael -
