I foolishly modified the Enfold theme before creating a child theme, and am now trying to create a child theme that utilizes all the styling of my modified Enfold theme. I checked out the WordPress codex and had no problem following along with the instructions in your explanation video. However, after uploading the child theme folder with its functions.php and style.css files to my server, and importing the parent theme options in the backend, some styling issues remained. All content, images, and general layout and are appearing properly, but the font (typeface, size, color) is not.
After activating the child theme, I did make sure the custom CSS in the General Styling > Quick CSS field was present (it was) and imported the Parent Theme Options. The problem remained, so I tried getting rid of the entire child theme folder I created on my server and using the Child Theme Configurator plugin instead. The child theme it created turned out to be identical to the one I created manually, with the exact same font issue. I can’t seem to figure out why it’s doing this. I don’t believe there’s an Enfold template file I modified that would cause this, but I can’t figure out another reason,
I’m providing my login credentials so you can view the live site and preview the Enfold Child Theme created through Child Theme Configurator. Thank you!

Could you try to put all your custom CSS in Quick CSS to see if it works from there? About the theme options; sometimes it doesn’t apply unless you toggle a few options and save, could you try that as well please?
Best regards,
RikardMay 29, 2017 at 1:08 am #800911Thanks Rikard. What I was explaining was that the custom CSS IS already in the Quick CSS field. However, for whatever reason, after I reselected the correct fonts in the child theme and saved this time, everything looked fine. I had tried that before but nothing changed. Don’t know why it worked this time, but I’m not complaining! Thanks again.
