Hi,
Any update on this or other solutions?
We had quite a few other sites that had the same issue.August 1, 2024 at 5:53 pm #1463539Hi,
I checked the sites that you posted but I didn’t find any errors.Best regards,
MikeAugust 2, 2024 at 8:40 am #1463599Alright, but do you have any other suggestions to fix this?
We have tried everything and the issue still occurs.August 3, 2024 at 5:50 pm #1463709Hi,
Unfortunately we don’t have any other suggestions, we have not been able to reproduce this and when each of us checks your site we don’t see the error. It seems that each time your Kinsta cache is cleared the issue is resolved, so perhaps your Kinsta cache is not properly clearing when the site is updated? You could try manually clearing your Kinsta cache or disable it or disable the theme cache.Best regards,
MikeAugust 5, 2024 at 12:57 pm #1463828Hello,
I have our host to disable Cache on two of the sites and i will keep an eye on them.
The theme cache are disabled on all our sites.Could the new theme update have any fixes to it?
Would i harm if i deleted the folder were these dynamic css file are stored?
August 5, 2024 at 11:59 pm #1463885Hi,
If you have the theme cache disabled and enable the setting Delete Old CSS And JS Files the folder should be empty after you clear your host cache.
Since we can not reproduce, we can not offer a future theme fix for this.Best regards,

Delete Old CSS And JS Files are not on, should it be on?
And how do we know if it delete these files?August 6, 2024 at 4:44 pm #1463961Hi,
Yes, if you have Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression disabled, then enable Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Delete old CSS and JS files then the files will be cleared when the cache is cleared.
I recommend waiting until this occurs on it’s own, as your server cache seems to lag behind causing your issues above.
If you manually delete the files and your server cache is still calling them you will probably see some errors, so it will be better to wait until it occurs on it’s own.Best regards,
MikeAugust 7, 2024 at 8:25 am #1463998Hi,
I have shared our settings, can you take look at it and see if this is how you suggest it should look like.
August 7, 2024 at 6:12 pm #1464041August 8, 2024 at 8:41 am #1464107Hi,
My mistake this one had Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression enabled.
All the other sites do not.Okay so this setup should fix the problem without the script in the functions.php or do we also need that?
August 8, 2024 at 3:52 pm #1464150Hi again,
I still want an answer to my comment above but we have a developer to look more into this and he have following questions:
- Can we change the automatically generated CSS files to have the correct MIME type.
- Alternatively, can we make an exception for strict MIME checking for CSS files.
- What role does the cache play? Does it work e.g. with a different cache.
- Can (worst case) do without strict mime type check.
I hope that these questions make sense.

August 10, 2024 at 12:44 pm #1464314Hi,
Your MIME error seems to be due to a server error with X-Content-Type-Options “nosniff” and not a theme error, please refer back to this thread.
While we can not reproduce this on any of our servers, thinkjarvis had this issue in this thread and he solved it by changing his server settings. In the page you wrote that your server support will not change this for you, perhaps this info will help your new developer. Unfortunately we don’t have any other ideas, your two threads seem to cover all of the possibilities.Best regards,
Mike -
