Hello
Our website loads correctly on desktop browsers but on iPhones, no pictures or styles show up. Only a simple text based website shows on the iPhones and blank spaces for photos.
Could you help us with this? Thanks
February 18, 2024 at 1:52 pm #1434644Hey Jubentino,
Did you try checking in a private or incognito browser window?
Best regards,
Rikard4February 18, 2024 at 7:21 pm #1434684On desktop Chrome and Firefox browsers in private/incognito, it looks correct.
On the iPhone Safari in private mode, it’s also broken.
This is what I see on the iPhone: https://imgur.com/a/K62SZNhFebruary 18, 2024 at 7:47 pm #1434690Hi,
Your site loads correctly on my iPhone and Android, perhaps you have data saver turned on, or another setting on your device.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 18, 2024 at 9:53 pm #1434708Hello Team,
I have the same problem with 2 subpages of my website. The page “Das Gemüseabo” looks perfectly on mobile screens (http://wurzelauszwei.at/das-gemueseabo/). But the page “Der Markt” (http://wurzelauszwei.at/der-markt/) looks broken – same problem as Gatica mentioned. Just a blank white page with the text. The green background and correct font size is not shown. I checked the settings and compared them to the “das Gemüseabo” page – same settings. And on the “Ab-Feld-Verkauf” page, the heading font “Ab-Feld-Verkauf” (http://wurzelauszwei.at/ab-feld-verkauf/) is not shown correctly. The menu overlaps the font. But also the same style options as in “Das Gemüseabo”. I cleared the caches on my iPhone (software version iOS 17.3.1.) and also the Desktop Cache with the “WP fastest cache” Plugin.
Could you please help me with this?
Thanks
February 18, 2024 at 10:04 pm #1434711Hi,
Your page loads correctly on my iPhone and Android, you say this happens only on this one page for you?
Please note that iPhones can be hard to clear the cache, often you need to also clear the history to fully purge the cache, following these steps for Safari and note Step 4 where you will Clear the History.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 18, 2024 at 10:19 pm #1434716Hello Mike,
thanks for your fast answer. I’ve done what was mentioned in this link. Inclusive clearing the history. Now the page looks as broken as on my mobile screen. The green background is gone and the font sizes aren’t shown correctly any more. Very strange.
Do you have any idea? Thanks :)
February 19, 2024 at 4:47 am #1434731Hi,
@Nihru: The page seems to be loading correctly when we checked it on a device emulator. Would you mind providing a screenshot of the issue? You can use platforms like Savvyify, Imgur or Dropbox to upload and share the screenshot. Here are the steps to follow:1.) Visit the website of your chosen platform, such as Savvyify, Imgur or Dropbox.
2.) Locate the option to upload a file or an image.
3.) Select the screenshot file from your computer or device and upload it to the platform.
4.) After the upload is complete, you will be provided with a shareable link or an embed code.
5.) Copy the link or code and include it in your message or response to provide us with the screenshot.Thank you for taking the time to share the screenshot. It will help us better understand the issue you’re facing and provide appropriate assistance.
Best regards,
IsmaelFebruary 19, 2024 at 3:26 pm #1434778Hello Team, thanks for your answers.
Below the link to the dropbox folder. I hope this works.
In the folder are 3 screenshots:
– Bildschirmfoto Safari – looks perfect
– Bildschirmfoto Firefox – the font “static” is not shown/correctly loaded.
– Bildschirmfoto Google-Chrome: There you can see my second problem. On smaller screens – not small enough for tablet style – the menu overlaps the logo. I’ve read many threads but no solution for this problem. Can you give me a css to fix this? Or shall I open a new ticket for this problem?I’ve installed 2 different caching plugins. First the Speed Optimizer and after clearing the cache, the design was as worse as yesterday. The green backgrounds were gone and the size of the Static-Font was worse.
Today it looks better but there is still the problem with firefox and google chrome.
I deinstalled the speed optimizer and tested the WP fasted cache plugin –> my design got broken yesterday.
I don’t know what went wrong. Maybe I did some settings in my enfold child theme (Website Performance and Optimization)… maybe something got wrong with CSS-compression or Java- compression… or with the lazy load of pictures / responsive images… Maybe the plugins weren’t compatible with that… Would you mind having a look at both settings… enfold and the Speed Optimizer and I give you the login to the website?
My hosting partner recommended a caching plugin. He told me, siteground produces a lot of cache. Therefore I’d like to use a caching tool but I’m really afraid, the whole design will be gone again. Thanks :-)

I’m the designer who made the site for gatica. Borrowing their account to add this…
I also have bought several other Enfold themes for other clients and made their websites.
This site and another site with the Enfold theme show this behavior on the iPhone. Another Enfold site I made doesn’t.I did flush the cache on the iPhone (iOS 17.x) and it correctly showed the website with all the styling for 1 day. The next day, the website only shows text and blank photos.
For my other client’s website(see private content), when I tried to load it on an iPhone on Safari with freshly cleared cache, it didn’t load correctly and showed text and blank pictures. Please let us know how this can be fixed. The majority of users use mobile phones to view websites.
Thanks

February 21, 2024 at 12:14 am #1434952———An update———
This is Sean(designer of the site) borrowing the account for Gatica….ok, I was able to fix this issue. All the sites I had made using the Enfold theme were hosted on Godaddy.
The ones that were breaking on the iPhone were on their managed WP servers. And they were using Godaddy’s CDN which comes standard with managed WP accounts. The other ones that didn’t have the issue were using regular webhosting(cPanel) and didn’t have any CDN.
I turned off the Godaddy CDN and all the sites with styling issues behave correctly on iPhones!!!So Godaddy’s CDN service was causing this behavior on the iPhone. It must be turned off.

@Nihru: If you’re using a cache plugin with compression enabled, consider disabling the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings to prevent conflicts, or vice versa. If the issue persists, please start a new thread and provide login information in the private field.@gatica: Thank you for sharing the information! Glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue. Please let us know if you have more questions.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
