    Hi Kriesi support-team,
    I use an iframe on one side.
    I have now noticed that when the page loads, it always scrolls to the iframe instead of displaying the page header.
    When I use a link to navigate to a specific other anchor point on the same page, the page also scrolls to the iFrame.
    So I suppose it has to do with the integrated iframe.

    This effect also occurs in the backend – after updating changes.

    Is it possible to stop this?

    Hey Grobi,
    Sorry for the late reply, I’m not sure what is causing this but your iframe looks like it is part of a plugin, is it?
    You can link to your page with #top at the end of your link like the link in the Private Content area and the page won’t scroll down.

    Thanks for this simple and successful idea. I could have thaught of this… :-)
    Indeed I do not understand, why that happens on the backend as welll.

    But for frontend you solved my problem. Thanks!

    Hi,
    Thank you for the feedback, and I’m glad this helps.
    Examining your iframe link the end of the link contains ?startpage=1 which when loaded triggers it’s javascript that changes the link to ?startpage=1#page_1 which is the anchor it scrolls to.
    So that is why it is scrolling, but I don’t see a way to override this unless you add the ID #page_1 to the top of your page to break the scroll.

    OK, thanks for the extra effort! Since this now works with the #top-addition in the link, I will probably leave it at that.
