This is really strange.
I have a text block with a few paragraphs in. In the visual editor, everything appears OK. But as soon as I save it then view the page, it’s just one single block.
If I go back into the editor, I can see Avia showing it as one single block. I clock on it to edit the text, and the paragraphs magically reappear! I click save, it now looks good in the Avia editor. Click on update the page, and back to square one.
I have other text blocks in other colour sections on the same page which all appear fine. I can’t figure out what makes this one different.- This topic was modified 7 years, 9 months ago by xavbroadcast.
February 16, 2017 at 11:59 am #747912OK, this is driving me nuts!
Currently, it’s wrong:
When I go into the editor, I can see it as a single block of text with no line returns:
But when I click on it to edit it, the paragraphs magically reappear!
If I then click on Save then save the actual page, it’s fixed once I refresh the browser view.
But if I go back into the editor, it still appears as a single block of text.
And when I make some other changes, it will reappear incorrectly as a single block of text.
February 19, 2017 at 5:37 pm #749023Hi,
your paragraph looks correct on my end.
Are you using Chrome by chance? I have found that refreshing does not always clear css properly. I found using the Clear Cache extension to help.Best regards,
MikeMarch 19, 2017 at 1:49 pm #763185Ooh thanks Mike (and sorry, I had missed your post somehow).
Yes, I’m using Chrome, and yes, if I look at it with Firefox, it appears OK. I’ll look into this clear cache extension.March 19, 2017 at 2:53 pm #763204I take it back, it’s not that! I still have the issue in Firefox.
Also, with the newer version of Enfold with the added Element Preview window, I can see the problem straight from in there. Sometimes, the Element Preview window stays blank (not sure if related or a different issue).
If I go in the edit window frame, and for example make a carriage return then delete (so no real change), then the element preview updates. I’ve also noticed that I don’t even need to make an edit: just go in and move the cursor arround, and the Element Preview updates. So that would suggest a browser glitch?- This reply was modified 7 years, 8 months ago by xavbroadcast.
March 19, 2017 at 4:11 pm #763220Hi,
In the new update some elements do have live preview . You may not see the changes correctly until the cached files are cleared in your browser.
Please try to hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” and review the site again.
Best regards,
