    Hello,
    I have given our portfolio items a noindex. A website audit finds now a lot of this portfolio items with the notation /?s at the end of the url.
    An example is: /portfolio-item/damen-marine-systems/?s=

    I assume this search option is added by Enfold but how can I avoid this? and:
    • should I avoid this if this is possible?
    • should I set the portfolio item on noindex, or is it better to index them?

    Hey Henk,

    The problem is that google says ” Even if you no-index something, if they want to crawl it they will do it. ”
    So I do support that the same is happening to your crawling software :)

    Yes, on the next version we are fixing it, by adding a nofollow value.
