Hi, I have a mounting issue in Enfold. I have updated to 4.2.4 last weekend, but experienced issues. Now, users of my website got blocked and it was due to the number of 404’s they were hitting.

The 404 that occurs is some reference to this path. https://medi-paper.com/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/‘../enfold/style.css’ (Please note this is the exact path as in the source code, and I think it can=’t be right.)

What can possibly be causing this, and how to correct it?

Another issue is that I am getting a lot of:

Refused to load data:font/woff;base64,<<followed by a 256-bit? string of numbers/letters?>> because it appears in neither the font-src directive nor the default-src directive of the Content Security Policy.

Although I am not sure, the logout of users did not occur before updating to 4.2.4 and rolling back to 4.2.3, hence I am suspicious on it as the cause. I cannot verify it though.

    Hey Medical,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Hi, sorry, thought I had sent it already, but don’t see my post. Kindly refer to the below.

    Hi,

Thanks for the login details, though I’m not sure where or how we can reproduce the error/problem?

    Best regards,

I have 15 errors on this page, including one wrong inclusion of the mentioned CSS (which format is off).

I have fixed other errors causing 404s yesterday, but this CSS error seems to be something in the theme? Not sure, and not sure about the other 14 errors either.

Plus, on top I have another error with search results as in this forum, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/instant-search-results-are-wrong/#post-91603. Your colleague Basilis has been looking into it, I can’t find what is causing it.

Can these errors be due to CSS conflicts?

    Thanks

Hi, I have disabled all plugins and tried to see if the error would disappear, but it did not.

The page https://medi-paper.com/pharma-digital-medical-marketing/ shows 14 errors of this type:
Refused to load data:font/woff;base64,<<followed by a 256-bit? string of numbers/letters?>> because it appears in neither the font-src directive nor the default-src directive of the Content Security Policy.

Note, these errors are not visible to visitors by loading the page, only when going to (in Safari) “Show Page Source” >> “Console” >> “Errors”.

How to solve? I find it strange that it’s limited to one page,

The other error (style sheet inclusion) I have been able to solve.

    Hi,

Thank you for the info. I would like to access the site but the login credentials above are not working. Please try to use this plugin.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use wordpress@kriesi.at ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer not to use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,
Thanks for helping. I am doing some works on my user account system, and since it was quiet for some time I disabled the admin account. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please note the change in login URL as well (due to the work on the user-system).

Another strange thing, I may have issues with the whole install. Updating to v4.2.5 results in error messages. 4.2.4 I also skipped because of issues (some elements not displaying properly) but when installing 4.2.5 I get the following error:

Luckily, I could rollback as I keep previous version installation files just in case…

    Thanks once more

    Hi,

Do you have a child theme where you have modified any of the elements we provide?

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hi Basilis,
I do have a child theme. Have copied the code in the Private Content. Thanks

    Hi,

Thank you for the info. Do you have a staging or a development site where we can see the issue? This problem is unique to the site so we won’t be able to reproduce it on our end. If you have the time, try to check if one of the plugins is causing the issue.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Dear Ismael,
Sorry for the belated reply as I was travelling and busy with other things. I have just tried to update to 4.2.6, but again I have an error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in /home/medipa5/public_html/medipaper.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php:14) in /home/medipa5/public_html/medipaper.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php on line 12

I do not have a staging or development website. On Feb 28 I already tried the “switching off” all plugins, but issues were persistent. The login below still works. I am running on 4.2.2 now, and feel I am loosing out on updates since you are already at 4.2.6. Appreciate the help to overcome this.

Update: I previously updated by downloading the latest .ZIP from ThemeForest and manually uploading and extracting.

I now tried the built-in updater, and wonder-oh-wonder, the update worked.

Not sure what is causing the problem manually updating the theme. Is there a logical explanation at all? I will regularly check my site’s ‘upness’ and let you know if any issues occur.

    Thanks once more.

    Hi medi-paper,

Yes, the file has moved in the theme, but the theme update was unable to delete it in the old location.

Glad you got it working for you! :)

If you need further assistance please let us know.
    Best regards,
    Victoria
