I am using a footer page created with Advanced Layout builder using several code block elements. If the footer is displayed on the homepage the codeblocks are not behaving the same as when the footer is displayed on any other page of the site. ie the sourcecode changes. The envelopping html Tags are missing completely:
<section class=”avia_codeblock_section avia_code_block_3″ itemscope=”itemscope” itemtype=”https://schema.org/CreativeWork”><div class=”avia_codeblock ” itemprop=”text”>
</div></section>
How can this happen?
Thank you for your help
July 17, 2018 at 8:25 am #986292It seems like if I add a codeblock to the mainpage , then the codeblocks in the footerpage are not being displayed properly once I remove the codeblock from the mainpage the codeblocks in the footepage work again

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

I cant understand why you say it is a bug, but actually that cant be a bug if it works on other pages, we do not haev any code that is making the behaviour of the sections to work different when the page is a homepage.

I say it’s a bug because it behaves like a bug.
I have a footerpage with three codeblocks in it, this works fine attached to another page, as soon as I add a codeblock to the mainpage (it can be a blank page with only a empty codeblock in it) the code in the footerpage breaks. Can you explain this to me please?

I was going to check your website, but it seems like credentials do not work anymore. Can you please update them? Is the code block still there?

Please update enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\codeblock.php with
https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_4_1/codeblock.php
Do not forget to make a backup of the original file and clear server and browser cache.
Cheers!
