I have Enfold v.3.0.8 running on WordPress 4.1.1 [all latest versions as far as I know]
Using the single page setup all settings work fine when viewed in OS X Firefox, Chrome or Safari. As soon as I view on Android [tablet or phone] the background images are random – in other words images in the media library but certainly not as set in the Enfold settings.
Why should the settings work okay in one system but not in another. All help or comment gratefully received.
BTW: If you wish to check in your browser on your system the URL is: http://la-charmante.com/2/
You will soon know if the display is working correctly – the text is normal and readable against a solid color background. If you’re geeting the rror you cannot read the text against the image background. Thank you all.
Best wishes,

Did you try to flush the cache, restart and reload your Android browser a few times?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 3, 2015 at 10:53 am #405052Hi Rikard:
Thanks for your response. Yes, I have tried that, and rebooting and different browsers. I’ve checked on laptops and PC systems and there is no problem at all. It occurs only on Android devices – all of them!
Any further ideas on what I might try, please?
Anybody else encountered this issue?Best wishes,

I don’t have an Android device myself but I’ve flagged the rest of the team to check it out. Exactly what devices are you getting this issue on?
Cheers!

05-March-2015March 5, 2015 at 7:45 pm #406640Hi!
I checked on a Nexus 7 but everything looks the same as it does on desktop. What browser are you using on the Androids? If it’s not the official Chrome browser then try downloading and viewing on that.

ElliottMarch 5, 2015 at 8:25 pm #406658Hi Elliot:
Thanks for your help.
At last, I have found the culprit. It’s not the Android OS – it’s Firefox – for some reason it messes the page. Use Chrome, Safari and it’s fine – on mobile tablet or whatever.Best wishes,

Yes, seems that way. I guess I can live with that but FF is still a very popular browser. Maybe next time there’s an upgrade you guys can take a look at that please.Best wishes,

06-March-2015March 7, 2015 at 2:26 pm #407485Hey!
Is it possible for you to provide a screenshot of the issue? Maybe we can provide a browser or mobile specific fix for it.
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 7, 2015 at 2:45 pm #407493Sure – here are two screen clips of the same screen area. The first is on a mobile in Android Firefox and the other [as it should appear] is Safari on OS X Mac Yosemite.

07-March-2015March 10, 2015 at 9:09 am #408672Hi!
You have this custom css code:
.responsive .container { max-width: 3000px; }
I think 3000px is a bit too much. Default is 1030px. If you don’t mind, please post the css modifications that you have on pastebin.com. We would like to check it.

IsmaelMarch 25, 2015 at 1:52 pm #417728Hi folks,
could you tell me please, if you’ve found an solution in this case? As two of my pages show the same issue on firefox for android, I’m very interested in it. Unfortunately, the custom css code did not work for it and the latest update (3.1.2) neither.
Best wishes

we are sorry, but Firefox is not really support for mobile, due to little demand.
