    Please take a look and see what the issue is. I had to add the fix to the functions.php file in order for the site to be able to function properly.
    All of my plugins are up to date and I even tried disabling them to see if that would fix the issue.

    Disregard. A new updated popped up for the child theme and it fixed the issue.
