    I LOVE Enfold and have almost zero issues for the entire year I’ve been using it but now when I try to update to the latest version (from inside my Wordress dashboard as usual – I get this error message:

    An error occurred while updating Enfold: Could not copy file. enfold/includes/admin/demo_files/demo_images/startup.jpg

    It doesn’t matter which browser I use, I get the same message.

    Since this update is now a few weeks old and I am running the latest WP update, my site has become rather unstable so I’d like get some help ASAP

    Please try updating the theme via FTP – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Do you know why it isn’t working within WP? It’s just that’s how I always do it and I don’t have FTP access to my site – I’d have to request it then wait days for my support ticket to be open and replied too. Thanks, Star

    Hi!

    Have you tried logging out of WP dashboard? Remove browser cache then login again. You should have access to the files, an ftp or a cpanel account. What is your current hosting provider?
