    I am a wordpress newbiew although not a developer newbie :)
    Bought and installed enfold and i am really happy i did.
    Some quick questions to get me oriented.

    1) The demo page shows off multiple looks of the template. The documentation that comes with enfold is rather basic on how i do all these. For example how i work with the slider e.t.c.

    2) Should i focus on using shortcodes and enfold elements in all my pages and leave standard wordpress functionality out? For example if i want to display a category via a menu item, should i choose a page that will contain enfold items or i just use the wordpress menu option category? If i do the latter would i be able to use enfold in the layout?

    3)Mega menu is a plugin that enfold installs? Is there documentation anywhere?

    My questions are newbish and i almost feel bad for asking but i really need some guidelines on how to start up…

    I would appreciate any help from more experienced members.

    Alao, if i want to have a look in 2 demos of the theme locally should i have 2 instances of the theme? becuase when i switch back and forth with import the appearance is not ok.

    Hi!

    1- You can find Enfold online documentation here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/
    We recommend importing a theme demo ( in Enfold theme options > Demo Import ) and experimenting on the existing pages to figure out how Advanced Layout Builder works quickly.
    2- You can add one of the elements that display posts ( like Masonry, Blog posts, Portfolio Grid etc. ) and choose to display a certain category on your page.
    3- Mega Menu is one of the features of Enfold and you can find video instructions here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/creating-a-mega-menu/
    4- You can create a multisite ( http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network ) or two different installations on your local environment.
