After updating to SSL, sometimes the home page appears to not have any css applied. Refreshing the browser fixes it. It’s infrequent. Most times when going to the site, it appears fine. Just once in a blue moon it displays like in the attached link (it’s a picture of the issue). https://nicholassansburysmith.com/index.php/nkytestpage/
You can go to https://nicholassansburysmith.com to see how it usually displays.
Theme and WordPress versions are current. I’ve run a ssl site checker and everything passed.
I’m using Sucuri as a firewall. I’ve cleared the cache everywhere that I know of.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Sometimes websites don’t load as expected unfortunately, did you make sure that it’s not a local issue? I loaded the front page a few times and I’m unable to reproduce the problem. If we can’t reproduce it then it will be difficult to give you a solution.
Best regards,

I’m not sure what to look for with regards to a local issue. Plugins are updated and site has been scanned. I know it started once I activated SSL. I also know it’s difficult to troubleshoot if it can’t be easily reproduced. I’ve searched on-line and see many people with this issue. I’ve tried or eliminated most of the suggestions I’ve seen so far. I was hoping you guys had some fixes for this as it seems to happen to others.
December 3, 2018 at 6:17 am #1040126Hi,
Thanks for the update, I checked your site just now and sure enough I could see exactly what you are referring to. There are numerous resources not being loaded due to the server responding with a 503 error:
503 Service Unavailable. The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay. If known, the length of the delay MAY be indicated in a Retry-After header.
Could you try contacting your hosting provider about that please? Server problems are out of our reach unfortunately.
Best regards,
Rikard -
