I have a new client who is launching a brand for whom I want to use Enfold. As part of this introduction, I want to create a splash page for the Enfold site similar to the “loading” page, but in which I can control the time on screen, place simple images and/or animations and control the background—either color or image. This will eventually transition into their full online store,. but I want to have a splash page first that moves into an introductory site as the back end in being built.

Is there any existing way I can do that with Enfold’s standard controls?

Is there any way to convert the “loading” page to a controls, stylable splash page?

Can I create a page as “home” and add custom code to make it a “splash” page? Where would I place the code—i.e. JavaScript splash activity?

If not, do I have to create a new PHP template for a splash page?

Seems simple until I think about it, how do you suggest I proceed?

    Thank you

    Hey blaircomm!

To create a custom splash page like that you would need to do all of the coding manually. If your wanting to use the layout builder then you could add your javascript and CSS inside a codeblock element.

The LayerSlider lets you create custom transitions and effects like how your wanting but I’m not sure if that’s going to work as a splash page.
