    I am using the fullscreen background video for one of my pages and would like to speed up the loading time.

    1) Will a 15 second video versus a 30 second video have a faster page load time?
    2) Do you recommend YouTube, Vimeo, or direct linking of web-video files (mp4, webm, ogv, etc.) with respect to load times?
    3) My hosting provider is GoDaddy and my host server has one core versus two. Will upgrading my host server from one core to two cores help? If so, significantly?

    Hey Starkos,

    1. It will have an effect if the video is auto play, if not then it probably won’t affect load times.

    2. I would say that going for a third party would be your best choice.

    3. I’m not sure on the specifics of your hosting, but a faster server would probably speed things up yes.
