Tagged: special headings
On our website we use your Special Headings elements for our headings. Yesterday we found out that many of our headings were not showing properly. After some experimenting we found out the problem was that sometimes we use html tags (like <b>, </br>) INSIDE the headings.
The headings show fine in the editor, but they don’t work when viewing the site. Somehow the html tags mess things up.
Take a look at our “Features” page on the bottom below “Oh, did we mention this?” the h3 headings are broken. On our homepage the 3 headings under the big image are broken. On our support page you can see all the broken h3 headings under the icons.
We have two installations of enfold (main page, support page), and they are both broken.
The strange thing is that it was all working fine until yesterday. We didn’t make any changes to the site.
Hi lapajnea!
Is it this?
It seems to be displaying fine. What are you trying to make it do?

Elliott
i have the same problem.
i put some <em>
html tag inside the special heading. Until today it displays perfectly the <em>
code.
But now it displays that :
<’h1′ class='av-special-heading-tag' itemprop="headline" >’
instead of the title…
it seems to me that the problem come from wordpress 4.1 update.
I am having the same problem and I did not update the theme at all.
I find they work when you first save the special heading element, but if you return to the element to adjust say a font-size, then on re-saving the html is lost.
Just to let you know, we have updated Enfold to the latest version AND WordPress to the latest version and the special headings are now displaying fine.
@lapajnea : do your special heading display now (with new wordpress and enfold version) fine with html tags inside ?
I didn’t want to update neither wordpress or enfold (why should i update every 3 months with all the compatibility problem ?)
So i discover myself where the problem come from : formatting.php
thanks a lot for the great support !!
