    Hello there,
    I keep receiving SPAM mails via contact forms on my website.
    Though there’s a data protection check box which is marked as required before sending, I keep getting SPAM mails, where the confirmation concerning data protection is: false – it shouldn’t be possible to send a message via contact form when a required field is not filled in…

    The lastes version of WP is installed on the site as well as the latest version of ENFOLD.

    So maybe you have an idea what could be the problem.

    Hey KELmedia,

    We are still actively looking for a solution to this issue. In the meantime we have been recommending our users use the Contact Form 7 plugin.

    thanks for your reply.
    Already installed Contact Form 7 and the problem’s gone since a few days now.

    Nonetheless I’d be happy if you find a solution as i really like the theme’s contact form :)

    Hi,

    Great, I’m glad that it’s working with Contact Form 7. We will of course try to fix all the problem with spam getting through our own contact form. I’ll close this thread for now then, please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.
