February 9, 2018 at 10:27 am #910179Hi
This week I got two spam Emails – both with an address ending on glmux.com – through my English contact from. I contacted my web hosting company and they said I should reset the Captcha code (they also did a spam check for my website but could not find anything). How can I do that?
 Thanks for your feedback.
inuitFebruary 10, 2018 at 5:11 am #910462Hey inuit68, Are you sure that it’s actually coming from the contact form? I’m asking because I see that you have have a mail to address added there as well. Maybe the spam bots are picking that up and sending emails to your mail that way? Best regards,
 RikardFebruary 12, 2018 at 3:25 pm #911131Hi Rikard
 Thanks for your reply.
Yes they were coming form the form and not the Email directly, as on the form I added a subject so I see from which page the reply comes form.
Thanks for letting me know how to reset the Captcha.
Best regardsFebruary 13, 2018 at 4:42 am #911490Hi, Thanks for the feedback, though I have no idea what your hosting provider means by resetting the Captcha. First off, please try to update your theme to the latest version (4.2.3) to see if that helps : http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ Best regards,
 RikardFebruary 13, 2018 at 9:26 am #911577Hi
I have just updated WordPress to 4.9.4 (as it was listed on my dashboard) and I also updated the Plug-in for the contact form, that is compatible with the latest WordPress version. I hope this solves the problem of the weird Emails through the Contact page. Otherwise I will be back in touch.

I just got another one of those weird spam Emails through my contact form. Again form an address @glmux.com. And again from the English site.
What can be done to fix this?
 Regards
 inuit68February 16, 2018 at 2:07 pm #913266Hi,
Unfortunately there are Captcha solving APIs that spammers use to get past Captchas. You could try adding Google reCAPTCHA to the contact form
Or try using contact form 7 and reCaptcha from Google, but I believe someday Google reCAPTCHA will be hacked also.
You can decide if it is worth your time if you are only getting a few spam emails a month that can easily be filtered with your email client.Best regards,
 Mike
