Hi,
I am using Enfold built in form for my contact pages. However in recent weeks I have started to get spam form submissions on many of my websites. i know you have suggest of using contact form 7 in other threads but I want to stick with Enfold’s form. I have enable the Captcha within the form but it had no affect.
Please can you advise what should I do to stop this Spamming on my websites.
How can I increase the security of my forms so that I don’t get bots filling in the forms.
Thank you.

Unfortunately this is an issue that is still being addressed without a concrete solution as yet.
Try the hosting company and see if they can stop the spam attacks.
You can also try using a plugin such as this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-spamshield/Best regards,

I’m experiencing the same thing. Lots of spam mails coming through. I appreciate you’re still looking into this, but I also wanted to point out that literally NONE of the spam mails agree to my GDPR privacy policy: they all say “I agree to the terms and conditions laid out in the Privacy Policy: false” at the bottom. (I set the theme’s GDPR settings so that anyone who posts or contacts me needs to agree to my website’s policy).
Why is that happening? Shouldn’t it be impossible to send these spam mails unless the spam bots agree to the terms & conditions? Could this maybe be a way for the Kriesi developer team to stop the spams from happening, or at least reduce them? (Something like “IF privacypolicy=false THEN don’t send mail).
@Jordan: the WP-Spamshield plugin has been closed – check out the link you mentioned above. Plugin not available. Have you got any other suggestions?(I’d prefer not to go the Contact Form 7 route). Many thanks!

Please open a new thread and include admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look at your site.

If you’re going to use the basic Enfold form I would suggest using a plugin that I have good experience with named CleanTalk. It does a great job at filtering out bots. Another option is to use something other than the base Enfold form – we use Gravity Forms and it works well also. Just my two cents in an attempt to help out.April 7, 2019 at 11:35 am #1087962Hi crtdude,
Thank you for your input! :)
