Hi – I’d had this issue before and you gave me code, but I tried putting it in CCS again and it didn’t work.
I’ve got a draft post that I’m using the Advanced Layout Editor instead of the default – which I usually use. The title doesn’t show up, so I had to use a Text Block to add it. I can’t make it look like my regular posts because of the spacing (and the date won’t likely show – not sure).
Any way to bring the space equal to what it is on other pages?

2 – Screen shot of what my preview for this Advanced Layout Editor will look at: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2cb22p48ddcwdc7/Screen%20Shot%202015-11-07%20at%208.36.00%20AM.png?dl=0
3- Your previous fix for the issue: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/space-issue-at-top-of-page/#post-460904I’d like instructions on how to do this every time I use the Advanced Layout Editor for a blog post. Thank you.
November 10, 2015 at 6:07 pm #533513Hey dominiquehurley!
not sure what you mean. Using ALB for blog posts will cause that you have to do everything from scratch. If you want to save your blog post build with ALB then simply save it as a template and load it when adding a new post.
Best regards,
AndyNovember 10, 2015 at 10:54 pm #533726Sorry Andy – my turn not to understand “f you want to save your blog post build with ALB then simply save it as a template and load it when adding a new post.”
I’m usually fine with the default editor, but wanted to use the Image with Hotspots feature for tomorrow’s post. So I decided to use the Avia builder (but the little checkbox still appears at the bottom under the SEO box stuff (from Jetpack I think), so I assumed it would still work. I know I can use the Image with Hotspots in the Default Editor as well, but then I can’t edit it. If I design it and hit save, everything becomes code, so I can’t open and change anything like I do with Avia. But usually the default editor is fine.
So, if I understand, it doesn’t matter that the checkbox is there. I’d have to use your Share buttons element. Right?
Can you explain what you said above about loading a saved template. Is that in the Default Editor? Thanks.
November 12, 2015 at 6:00 am #534560Hi!
Please use this in the Quick CSS field in order to fix the single post pages built in the advance layout builder:
.html_header_top.html_header_sticky .single #main { padding-top: 89px; }
I know I can use the Image with Hotspots in the Default Editor as well, but then I can’t edit it. If I design it and hit save, everything becomes code, so I can’t open and change anything like I do with Avia. But usually the default editor is fine.
Can you explain what you said above about loading a saved template. Is that in the Default Editor? Thanks.
In version 3.4.1, you can save a single element such as the hotspot image as template so you’l be able to add it again on a different page later on. Just click on the first button (beside the clone element button) on top of the element menu. Turn on the debug mode so that you can copy the element shortcode: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
Best regards,
IsmaelNovember 12, 2015 at 1:53 pm #534735Thank you Ismael – I know I will need to learn to do this (debug + template) as all my automatic email send-outs for my blog this morning (through Jetpack) was only code since I used the Avia editor. But reading it this morning it looks too complicated for my limited techy-ness. I’ll digest it for a few days and see if it looks more manageable then. Thanks for your help.
