I’m building a site using Enfold and Elementor and I’m hitting an issue where I can’t edit with Elementor, but only when trying to create a popup with Elementor (Templates > Popups). I’m not having the issue when creating/editing pages or posts with Elementor, and I’ve tested a few other template styles (header, section, etc.), but it seems like only the popups are triggering this error. Also, I’m using Enfold and Elementor on other sites without this issue. I have a ticket open with Tier 2 support at Elementor, but they’re saying that, because the issue resolves when they switch to a default theme, I should talk to Enfold support.

I have a version of the site set up for you to play with, where all the other plugins are already disabled, and a temp login link in the private content. And here’s a screencast of the issue, showing how I get the error when trying to create or edit popups, but not with headers, sections, or pages:

Do you have any clues for me? Thanks so much and lmk if you have any questions!

    Hey sky19er,
Thank you for your patience, I see you have a couple of threads about Elementor, but unfortunately Enfold is not designed to work with Elementor.
Enfold has it’s own built-in builder and most builder plugins clash with Enfold.
The Enfold builder, Advanced Layout Builder, can not be removed or disabled so that a builder plugin can be used in it’s place.
Unfortunately we are limited to providing support for third-party plugin.
If you would like to request that the Dev Team build in support for Elementor, the Dev Team has opened a new Github Feature Request for users to place requests and follow them as the Dev Team reviews them.
I recommend creating one feature request GitHub thread and include all of the issues with Elementor they can be reviewed at the same time.
    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,
    Mike

OK, I’ll try to get to that ;). Meanwhile, I seem to have narrowed this particular issue down to the footer options — as long as I don’t select a page to replace the footer in the Enfold options, the popups in Elementor still work; setting that footer page is what seems to break them. Anyway, thanks again!
