Hi,
I’m tring to optimize and customize image sizes for a project I’m workin on, so I took a look at full list of image sizes I found here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-image-sizes/I noticed that some image sizes are not available in all contexts.
For example ‘magazine’ and ‘masonry’ sizes are available for ‘Post slider’ element but not for ‘Image’ element, nor in TinyMCE editor.I verified this on a brand new install.
Wp, theme and plugins are up to date.
No other plugin is active. Is it possible to make all image sizes available in all contexts?
Thankyou

Yes, not all image sizes are available in all contexts. They will not make sense in all contexts and can break the elements original designs.

Unfortunately no, unless the images were adjusted manually via css and as Victoria mentions this runs the risk of breaking the design.

I see no risk of breaking the design in making all image sizes available at list for ALB “image” element and TinyMCE editor (“Add media” button). Please consider that risk is limited only to some ALB elements, while others could benefit from having all image sizes available.

Can you please tell us the exact element and the exact page where you need bigger images? Maybe it is something that can be done with css?

VictoriaNovember 30, 2018 at 4:37 pm #1039370Hi Victoria,
thankyou, but it’s nothing that can be done via CSS.I’m currently implementing a website using an higly customized child theme.
I’ve already iplemented custom CSS, custom functionalities, custom shortcodes and some custom ALB elements that suit my client’s needs.I’m now tryng to figure out how many image sizes I will need, and wether I’ll need custom image sizes too.
That’s why I noticed that Enfold creates image sizes that are not available in all contexts.I’m an Enfold enthusiast and i’m just tryng to help improve it’s functionalities ;)
