Tagged: CONTACT FORM
My website has several different contact forms and most website users submit at least three–usually in quick succession. I am receiving most of the responses, but in some cases, I’m only receiving one or two even though users report that they are seeing a message that the form has been sent each time after they click Submit.
I estimate that about 10% of the forms are seemingly getting lost in cyberspace. I can’t find a commonality to those that are disappearing. Users report submitting while on Chrome as well as Firefox. Different forms (among the three primary forms) are disappearing. And it’s happening on different days.
Help!!
Hey EliseBrowneHughes,
update the theme to Enfold v3.8 to see if things get better for you. Maybe your server is blocking WordPress default contact form function. Talk to your host about it. You could also try this plugin: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/
Best regards,
Andy
I have updated to the latest version of Enfold and am still not receiving some small percentage of messages. It appears that the problem may be limited to contact forms that use a Yahoo.com email address (but possibly also a few aol and gmail addresses). I have not received a single form that used a Yahoo address.
I have tried Contact Form 7 and Yahoo addresses are coming through. I would prefer not to rebuild all my forms in Contact Form 7, however.
Do you have any other ideas?
Hi,
you would need to contact you host and ask why they are blocking those emails. However, in my experience it’s best to use Contact Form 7, as they are using a different approach than the WordPress’ one.
Best regards,
Andy
