Hi – This site was recently transferred from WP.com. I’m going through all of them to change hard links back to the blog and I noticed something strange.
Most posts have titles at the top. See http://dominiquehurley.com/the-finished-painting-side-by-side/
But this one doesn’t http://dominiquehurley.com/studio-sneak-peek-yinning-and-yanging/
It shows up in a search, but not at the top of the page. I’ve just started the process, but there may be more.
I’m getting better at detective work. OK, so in going in to edit the links on this one, I noticed that it was a post I tried reconstructing because of the gallery nightmare issue I’m still hoping you’ll help me solve (previous thread).
I used the Advanced Layout Editor to redo this post. All my old ones are in Default Editor. So the default Title is missing at the top, but also the Share links, Comment box, You May Also Like blog thumbnails and maybe more.
Is that normal? I thought the Advanced one would just allow me to create nicer galleries.
Thanks.
Hi!
That is the default behaviour of the Advanced Layer Builder for posts. You can select yourself where you want for instance the share buttons by dragging the Social Share Button element to the post.
Cheers!
Rikard
Thank you. Resolved.
