Recently I came over a simple free plugin : multi language, which works perfect with Enfold [at on this side :) ]
It does not translate, but it creates additional tabes in your post / pages [backend] depending on the number of languages you have enabled. The number is languages is endless.
At each tab, which represent a language, you can fill out your post / page within the right language. the plugin, however, maintains the orginal layout, elements and pics. So no matter how many languages, the layout of your post/page remains identical.
IN your website url, the plugin adds the language code. For instance at my site;
http://addvise.net becomes http://addvise.net/nl-nl/artikelen or
http://addvise.net/en-US/articles
in your side bar, where applicable the plugin adds a simple widget which allows the user to switch language.
The plugin detects the browser language and uses that to select the default language. However the user can still switch language.
The plugin is simple and coding not a drain on your site. Be care full with the number of languages you add, because this can slow down your site.
message for Kriesi: obviously this is not a question or error but a recommendation for other users. From my point of view it works much better then WPML
Hi hgroen!
Thanks for the recommendation.
Best regards,

Hey!
Again, thank you for the info. I’m sure there’s a lot of users who will have interest in this plugin. Is this the link to the plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/multilanguage/
