    Using Enfold in WordPress (currently 4.5.2) I was changing some widgets and from that moment the socket is not visible anymore.

    The setting via Enfold, Footer, Default footer widgets & socket settings says: show footer with widgets and socket

    Checking in the database it seems correct:
    s:22:”display_widgets_socket”;s:3:”all”;

    Now I don’t understand why it does not show the socket in the frontend of the website (not even the HTML is there).

    What should I check more?

    Workaround that solves the problem is that I re-imported the demo via ENfold, Demo import. But make sure to create a database backup before doing this because it overwrites your colors and picture URLs etc.

    but the real cause is not yet clear to me.
