I’m using Enfold child theme and when I enter a social profile (Enfold Child > Social Profiles), like facebook for example it doesn’t show up in the General layout, Header, Footer as it says. The fontello appears to be installed and I also tried adding the function to register the icons in my child theme functions.php file – in case it’s also needed. How do I apply the social icons from the social profiles screen to my header or footer for example?
Thank you.November 3, 2016 at 7:24 am #707592Hi franki!
Can you please disable any active plugins, so can be checked if there is a conflict or not?
Thanks a lot

I only had 2 active plugins. I disabled them but no change.
Thanks

I went to Enfold theme options > Header > Extra Elements and choose to display “Header Social Icons” on the left side. Please review your website now :)

YigitNovember 4, 2016 at 1:14 am #707999Hello. I checked it on my phone when I got your message, and I saw it. But when I got home I checked on my PC and it was gone! I checked it on the same PC, different browser and sure enough, it was my browser that prevented me from seeing it. Somehow the setting in the admin and the icons on the front end were being blocked from appearing. The browser was firefox. After starting firefox in safe mode sure enough, I was able to see everything.
I apologize for the trouble.

No problem, glad you got it working :-)
Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic.

RikardNovember 5, 2016 at 2:58 pm #708696I verified it was Adblock Plus 2.8.1 on firefox that was preventing the social icons from displaying on the front end, as well as hiding the admin social icon setting options. If you can implement a workaround on a future update, that would be a wise choice.
Thanks!
