I am using the facebook social media from your theme so I can share my selected post with everyone else in facebook. It works fine:
1.- I read my article (http://sabrostarfruitcompany.com/xi-foro-international-del-banano-2014/) and go down the page to click on the facebook icon.
2.- Next I am asked to select if I want to share it with myself, everyone, etc.. at this point I see the image in large.
3.- I go to facebook and check my timeline and the feed is there. The problem is that it brings no picture but only the title and where the picture is suppose to go it is blank. A very tasteless way to present my post to others. Can you please tell me what am i doing wrong??
Thank you.

Try installing the WordPress SEO plugin by Yoast and navigate to Dashboard > SEO > Social > Facebook and make sure the “add open graph meta data” option is checked.
If you don’t want to use the plugin then you can also do this, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/wrong-image-article-when-i-share-to-social/#post-346735.
Cheers!

November 11, 2014 at 6:58 am #349213I had the SEO by Yoast instaled and I just checked that that option “Add Open Graph meta data” is checked. But the problem remains.

ElliottNovember 12, 2014 at 12:14 am #349770Thank you but I tried it and it didn’t work either. It seems like I am running out of options.
November 12, 2014 at 4:50 am #349848Hey!
I think the problem may be the image, i made a Test Post (to test it you’ll need to publish it, it’s a right draft now) with a JPG image set as the og:image (Yoast Social tab) and it shares as expected on Facebook.
Cheers!
JosueNovember 14, 2014 at 12:30 pm #351204I always solve the problem by using facebook debugger: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/
After publishing a post I immediately put the link into the Open Graph Object Debugger and “Fetch new scrape information”. Afterwards it’s posted with the correct image on facebook.I’ve the problem with almost every post. Can it be related to cashing? Or is it a facebook problem? I wonder because once treated with the debugger it works for other users too who share my posts.
November 15, 2014 at 1:29 am #351643Hey!
I’m not sure. It might be some kind of caching issue with facebook. Another user reported this problem and after adding the tags in we had to wait a day until the the correct image was displayed.
Best regards,
