    I have been extremely frustrated with the social icons not displaying reliably. THe site I am working now displays icons sometimes and sometimes they turn into little squares. I have built several sites with enfold and this has been a recurring problem. I really need a permanent solution. I have seen threads that offer solutions which I have instituted these but the problem comes back. Thanks for your help.

    Hi williamslyd,

    The icons are requested via https and so when the connection is not secure a browser is blocking the font since the protocols differ. You need to force the redirect to the secure version of the website and that is done via a plugin or .htaccess redirect.
