Hi,
I would like to have Social Icons and links in the Footer area, not at the very bottom in the Socket.
I would also like to add a Stemmit social media icon, or know how to add social icons not currently on your list.
I don’t understand how to do any of this in the widgts. There is a text box, but no place to put links.I would also like to add a Disclaimer link, Privacy policy, and a Terms and Conditions link to the footer area.
I saw that one suggestion is to create a new menu and put it in the socket, but again I would prefer it to be in the footer area. There is too much information if there is Tems & Con, Disclaimer, Privacy and a bunch of social media icons. With thanks

Here is some theory.
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-and-use-widgets-in-wordpress/
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/change-copyright-info-remove-enfold-child-theme/Yo can add those links like a footer menu. Create the menu and add it to the footer.
Best regards,
VictoriaJune 28, 2017 at 1:10 am #813659So how do I add Social Icons to the Footer area, not the Socket?
And is it possible to add an link or Icon to Steemit Social Platform?

Victoria’s first link should be able to help you. Were you able to try it?

Please let us know if you need help understanding the links that Victoria provided. Thank you!

I still don’t understand how to add in social icons… Sorry, if this is obvious to you…! but I don’t see that option. The only option that seems possible is the Menu one. So I feel no clearer as to how to put in Social IconsJune 29, 2017 at 2:46 am #814175Stick that code in a text box
You will need to alter to suitNeed others?
Add appropriate icon to a dummy page …with proper links etc
Save page
Open in Browser window
View the source code
Copy the span section
…and you got it<span class="av_font_icon avia_animate_when_visible av-icon-style- avia-icon-pos-left " style="color:#ffffff; border-color:#ffffff;"> <a href='http://facebook.com/WHATEVER' target="_blank" class='av-icon-char' style='font-size:20px;line-height:20px;' aria-hidden='true' data-av_icon='' data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello' ></a> </span> <span class="av_font_icon avia_animate_when_visible av-icon-style- avia-icon-pos-left " style="color:#ffffff; border-color:#ffffff;"> <a href='http://twitter.com/WHATEVER' target="_blank" class='av-icon-char' style='font-size:20px;line-height:20px;' aria-hidden='true' data-av_icon='' data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello' ></a> </span> <span class="av_font_icon avia_animate_when_visible av-icon-style- avia-icon-pos-left " style="color:#ffffff; border-color:#ffffff;"> <a href='https://plus.google.com/WHATEVER' target="_blank" class='av-icon-char' style='font-size:20px;line-height:20px;' aria-hidden='true' data-av_icon='' data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello' ></a> </span>

I was sure that there wasn’t a widgit for social icons, or at least I couldn’t figure it out. Feeling less stupid now. Thanks again
