    My website has recently became terribly slow. I have disabled all plugins (which seemed to help a little). I am on a managed wordpress hosting from godaddy which already does cacheing. Also, Increased all resources to their max allowed. When I activate another theme, All seems to run great! Please let me know and suggestions/ thoughts to help improve. http://www.stlouisdj.com

    You can see a full break down of what is loading and for how long here: https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/GrM8l/http://www.stlouisdj.com. There seems to be a long wait for some files and that is something you would have to bring up with your hosting provider.

    Thank you, I did get the load time figured out and it was the server. As you know they always want to blame the theme first. But now getting render blocking. Does this have anything to do with the theme?

    Hi,

    You will get that message on any site you run through the tool which is using CSS and JavaScript in the header, it’s not really an error. Try running any site through it and you will see what I mean :-)
