    Hi,
    backend is VERY slow when editing a page which contains more than just a textblock.
    Also after editing one element, page freezes for some seconds (5-10sec.).

    Result with Network Inspector:
    189 Requests | 82.6 KB transfered | Finish: 2.4 min | DOMContentLoaded: 1.86 s | Load: 10.91 s

    I’m using the latest versions of WP and Enfold with 512MB memory_limit.
    No Plugins activated (= zero).

    The page I’m trying to edit just contains:
    – 4 color sections (one with a background image)
    – 1 grid row
    – some columns
    – some headlines
    – some icons
    – 1 headline rotator
    – 1 portfolio grid

    It’s almost impossible to make a “quick” change.

    Hi,

    I edited the last text block on the page but I couldn’t see anything taking a long time, saving the page took a few seconds. It might be that you had a bad connection at the time or that the server was busy, could you try again please?

    Hi,

    interesting….the “freezing” and slowness only occurs in Google Chrome.
    Everything fine in FF.
    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    I was using Chrome when I did the edit so I’m guessing it’s due to caching or something similar in your browser. Please try clearing your browser cache and reload a few times to see if that helps.

    Thank You…indeed, it occured because of enormous browser cache in Chrome.
