    Hi all,

    We are having some performance issues because of the slideshow, I guess. The situation is this: We have in our home page a slideshow where we display some news (entries). In the config of the slideshow we set 6 as the news that should be displayed and there are 6 displayed. So everything well at this point, it shows what it has to, but when we analyze the web page (gtmetrix – pingtools), it took like 15sec to load because of the 12MB and 280 requests. Making a deeper analysis, we realize that it was because it loads all the images of all the entries (around 150 and 7MB). What can we do to load only the images of the six new that are displayed?
