Hello,
I am new to the enfold theme and could not find how to place a slideshow into the header.
Could you help me?

Hey Bart!

Thank you for choosing Enfold and welcome to our forum!

Please refer to this post and add a widget area to header area – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/adding-a-widget-area-to-the-header/
You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.

Hi!

Please go to Enfold theme options > General Styling and add the code to Quick CSS field which is at the bottom.

The site is running on my local machine.
But I’ve made a screenshot for you, can i put this on mail for you?
Placed a text widget in the header part and marked it with a red arrow, so below the menu, istead of above.
