As the title implies, I’d like to set the slideshow autorotation duration to 3 seconds. It doesn’t appear to be an option. In the drop down menu, the selections start at 2 seconds, and skip to 4, 5, 6, etc… Where can I make changes to make 3 seconds an option, or is there a necessary reason it was left out? Thanks!
I’m also wondering if something’s slowing down the page load times of my site. I understand it’s image heavy, and in the past I’ve used smaller, and well optimized images to counter this. My current site’s home page is around 7 MB, due to the large frontpage slideshow I haven’t determined how to improve upon. But then I happened upon this fellows page in a thread here in the support forum: http://twoheartsphotography.uk. His page is 12 MB, huge image sizes, and it loads 3 to 4 times faster than mine. Am I missing something?

The duration option should give you options from 2 – 100, which slideshow are you using?
Yes it looks like his site is loading around 4 seconds for me compared to your site which is around 5.5 seconds for me. I would contact him and ask him who he uses for his hosting provider and how much it costs.
Best regards,
ElliottMarch 13, 2015 at 6:49 pm #411212I’m using the “Fullscreen Slider” and I’m given the options:
2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 60, 100.March 13, 2015 at 8:35 pm #411278I’m not exactly sure how to go about contacting him?
I noticed, after running both sites through gtmetrix.com, the only significant difference I could find is the manner in which his images load. In the timeline, it looks like the images are blocked from loading until needed (correct me if I’m wrong)? Is this beneficial, and if so how does one go about doing so.Time line, test and comparison of both sites I’m referring to found here: http://gtmetrix.com/compare/DUvKJ3bw/h9ImSx2I

I’ll have a look at the lazy-load plugin, that may prove useful. Aside from that, is there a way to get the fullscreen slider to 3 seconds? That’s still an issue I’m having.
As for optimizing, these are my current statistics: http://gtmetrix.com/reports/allurexpressions.com/eNPjlaJi

March 16, 2015 at 6:27 am #411889Never mind, the latest update seems to have restored the 3 second option.
Thanks again!
