We have a very special problem with Enfold.
It is the second time that we’ve seen this (perhaps we didn’t see it yet on all our websites).
We have pages with two different Sliders or Galeries.
Then, one time, WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING, the first slider ist duplicated in the website view.
When we go in the Advanced Layout Builder we see the two different Sliders or Galeries.
Last time we could save the page and then it was ok again.
This time it’s still broken.
This seems to be a big bug in Enfold…

As I see, the problems with Enfold become bigger and bigger…how you will optimize this in future?

Thank you for the inquiry.
We are not really sure why the second slider is displaying the images on the first one, and we cannot check the actual shortcodes because the debug mode is not enabled, so we saved the current content as template and applied it to a temp page and for some reason, both sliders display correctly on this page. We post the link of the test page in the private field.
Please try to delete the current page, trash it, create another page with same title, then apply the “Innenausbau Temp” template to it.

You are still editing Innenausbau and Test Page.
But if you want, I can activate the debug mode, because it would be very interesting, why it does not work on this page… we did not change anything there a long time…

Please try to delete the current page, trash it, create another page with same title, then apply the “Innenausbau Temp” template to it.
Did you follow the recommendation above? Unfortunately, we are not sure why the sliders don’t work in the original page, but as you can see both sliders work perfectly fine in the new page, so you can just delete and trash the old page and rename the other.

Ok, we deleted the current page, created another page with same title and applied the “Innenausbau Temp” template to it.
This works, the sliders work now again.
So far so good.
But what we really do not understand is, WHY the page was broken without doing anything…
We didn’t modify this page for months or even years…
The only thing we do sometimes is to update WordPress, Enfold or plugins.
How can it be that a page is broken without doing anything on it and after recreating it, it works fine again??? This we really do not understand and we would like to have an explination about that to understand it…

As we have said earlier, we have no idea why the sliders in that particular page were duplicated but creating another and applying the template works fine. Is this happening on a lot of pages?

Yes we did and the new site is working fine.
But we would have liked to know why the page suddenly stopped working without us having changed anything.
It can’t be that we have to regularly check all the websites we’ve created with Enfold to see if they’re still working ;-)
But you can’t seem to give an explanation…
You can then close the task and we hope that these problems will not occur too often.
