    Hey there,

    I want to use the easy slider to have a rotation of magazine cover. I end up having 2 Problems:
    1 Images I upload are cropped – what is bad for magazine covers
    2 Images that are nor cropped are scaled

    I am a bit lost here…

    Hey Gabster,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Try to edit the Easy Slider element and in the Styling > Slideshow Image Size settings, select the first option (No scaling, Original Width and Height) to display the original images or the actual size of the images.

    Thanks Ismael, this would mean I have to reupload the images in the final format I need in the slider. I would rather suppress the cropping and use one of the images already uploaded, like 300*300. I would end up loading images up twice now as I need them not only in the slider but in other spots.

    Any Idea?

    Ok for now I just set the max-width .avia-slideshow li img

    Still any hint about skipping the cropping of images would be great :-)

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    If you want to adjust the dimensions or cropping options of the existing thumbnails, try to use the following plugin.

    // https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

    After the thumbnail adjustment, please do not forget to regenerate the images or upload them again.
