I know I asked this before but I need to know what the exact size of that slider is? I like to optimize all my pictures in photoshop and specify the width and height dimensions in the photo for page speed reasons. I can’t have one size sitting in my media file and another size displayed. Unless your theme is doing this automatically specifying through CSS and if so, what’s the best size to up-load from my camera to the media file on the site, that’s what I need to know?…Read below:
Page Speed currently only detects image dimensions that are specified via the image attributes. If you are specifying the dimensions via CSS, then you can safely ignore this recommendation.
Details from Google
When the browser lays out the page, it needs to be able to flow around replaceable elements such as images. It can begin to render a page even before images are downloaded, provided that it knows the dimensions to wrap non-replaceable elements around. If no dimensions are specified in the containing document, or if the dimensions specified don’t match those of the actual images, the browser will require a reflow and repaint once the images are downloaded. To prevent reflows, specify the width and height of all images, either in the HTML tag, or in CSS.

January 21, 2015 at 10:46 am #382943Hi ClevelandSeoGuy!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Are you referring to the fullscreen slideshow? The size of the images used in the demo is 1400x100px. You can use larger images to improve the slider quality.
Cheers!

IsmaelJanuary 23, 2015 at 4:41 pm #384412Ok Great we’re getting somewhere but, I’m still not getting my question answered… if I use 1400X1000 or 1500×1500 are the image dimensions being specified via the image attributes via CSS? For good SEO and page speed I need to know if this theme is doing this automatically or do I need to re-size my images to (1400×1000 or 1500×1500) and specify the image attributes myself in the HTML via photoshop before I upload them to my site?? Please read about GTMetrix page speed below:

January 26, 2015 at 9:25 pm #385845Hi!
Your talking about the slider on our photography demo? http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-photography/
The images are set as backgrounds to a list element and are not using actual img tags so I don’t think that applies there.
Cheers!
