We are using the Enfold theme and we are all up to date with all plugins and WP updates. the small slider on our homepage has disappeared and we cannot edit any pages in the backend of the site (the content doesn’t load, it just shows the loading icon spinning forever). I have tried turning off all plugins, 1 by 1, and nothing happened. I made sure all my theme files were up to date. I followed all instructions that seemed to fix similar problems that were listed in your forum. I am out of ideas.
July 29, 2016 at 5:28 pm #666660Hey davidgferguson!
You are currently using a very old version of the theme. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.6.1 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh
Cheers!

July 29, 2016 at 5:52 pm #666670I just took this site over and am not very savvy when it comes to this. This is what I am getting when I try to update:
“The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient.Enabling Maintenance mode…
Updating Theme Enfold (1/1)
Downloading update from https://s3.amazonaws.com/marketplace-downloads.envato.com/files/190691029/enfold.zip?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAJYG5ROGJ6X7Z3M6Q&Expires=1469807578&Signature=YDRJ8ElbkMB8JxUX4N2JFCXW7aQ%3D&response-content-disposition=attachment%3B+filename%3Dthemeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress-theme.zip…
Unpacking the update…
An error occurred while updating Enfold: Could not create directory.
Disabling Maintenance mode…Attention: We detected some custom styling rules in your custom.css file and restored it ;)
All updates have been completed.”Then it is still saying we need to update. what more do I need to do?
