After a long time (almost 2 years!) since adding new content I wanted to makes new sliders.
Currently ssing Enfold 3.4.7 and Slider version 5.6.2 Although I don’t have the update code since it is theme updated.
Problem: Cannot edit the original slider because there is nothing listed in transitions or text or images. They all need to be relinked to image or reworded or reconstructed, Where did the information go? I’m afraid to adjust any of it for needing to redo.
Yet, when I am on the website it still animates.
I thought I would make a copy slide and replace the images in order to keep transitions and timing but it just isn’t there!
Any idea? How does the import export work for this?

AndyNot quite the problem, but that could come in handy for other things! The actual editing info from the slider app is missing the original detail for transition type, timing etc. And the layer will show the text edit box or the image box (for example) but not the text or image associated with the layer.
If I make a new slider, then when I save and return to edit the text or image appears as it should in editable form.

As i understand you are unable to see/edit the 2 year old slider info but if you create new slides it works fine. Please provide us administrator access to your wordpress site so we can login to the backend and take a look at what’s happening. Please send the info in a private message.

It’s mostly images you have in the slider I was able to move them around and add text no problem!
If you think there was more content which is missing please contact the plugin author as they know their plugin best.

VinayOK. I can move them too. Not the real problem; It’s the missing content on transitions. Usually the plug in folks will not support because it was bundled with Enfold. I’ll just have to recreate I suppose. Thank you for checking.

Yes your are right we support this plugin. But i think your question is an exception since in the past 2 years the plugin has changed a lot so it is a possibility that you are not able to retrieve the old information. If it is really important info that you cannot re-produce request you to check with the plugin author if it is possible to retrieve this info and we will try to help you with it.

VinayI’m still trying to work this out… BTW, the site has been updated in theme and plugins all along. Just hadn’t been adding pages or new sliders or changed content. I actually ordered the paid version of Slider Layout and using the author support. Still buggy and now getting problems with Enfold. I had to try to fix Slider with disable plug-ins and test for interference. Since I did that then the home page of enfold has lost some of its images. (below the four boxes of text) and a thipard column that held testimonials (last row with my pic) is missing on the live page. I see it on the edit page, but not the front end. Cleared cache. Checked different browsers. I also tried to make a static slider from avia content builder and those images are not appearing on the front end. I’m really lost and frustrated. Help!

I checked your backend and your LayerSlider but could not find any issues. Your transition panel seems to be totally fine to me. Could you fix it? If you still think there is something wrong with the theme, then there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/

AndyFound that a jquery plug in I got to fix layer slider messed up enfold! That’s all back in order now. Still can’t get the first load on layer slider to work . It’s just stuck somehow. Its something in the load on the first time through. When I reorder the slides then the first one loads correctly My main one (Discover Create Share) works every time, any order, and the others two are fussy. Weird. I’ve cleared and started fresh but obviously with the same result. Not sure there is any more to try at time time. I appreciate the support.
