    Hi there,

Is there a way to make a slider integrate into the header so it appears on every page in the same way? Right now we have put a slider into every page via the page builder (which is not working out if changes need to be made)

hope to hear from you :-)

    Hey maaikemarloes!

Can you please post the link to your website and point out the changes you would like to make?
You can upload your screenshots on imgur.com or Dropbox public folder and post the links here.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

I am sorry, I missed the notification of your reply. Thanks for your patience.

Right now, in each page is a slider which is supposed to be in the header. Making changes to the slider requires a lot of work because all the pages need to be adjusted.

    Hope to hear from you!

    Hi,

It’s still not clear what changes are you trying to make to the slider? Would you mind posting us a screenshot/mockup of what you would like to achieve on the frontend? You can upload the screenshot to imgur.com or dropbox and share the link here :)

    Best regards,

I’m so sorry vinay, have made a short video-screencast to explain it.

    Hope it helps :-)

    Hi,

Thank you so much for the screencast :)

As I understand you like to add the slider in all the page wherever you like and when the slider is edited once, the updates should reflect on all the pages correct?

It is easy to do this with Enfold please follow the steps below.

    1. Create a new page called slider and create your slider in this page(the slider in this page will be referenced to other pages via widget).
    2. Enable debug mode to copy the slider shortcode from the page http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
    3. Add a new text widget area under Appearance > Widgets. Add the slider shortcode in the text widget area and use the advanced layout > Content element > Widget area to display this new widget on a page.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Thanks Vinay,

Have used this method. Lookt good!

Although I am not 100% sure, because it seems he doesn’t update automaticly when I make an adjustment in the text-widget. Will have to test is a little bit more to explain if (and what) something is not in order.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi there,

    All well at your side?

Is there an easy way to get rid of the overlay effect and the icon when hoovering over the slider?

Hope to hear from you :-)

    Have a nice day!

    Hi!

If you have any additional questions at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.

    Thanks!

    Cheers!
    Ismael
