When I am creating a slider and put an image in, it looks great in the preview box. Then in Layout & Positions Width I put 50% let’s say to shrink it, well it still looks great. Then when I save and go to the browser and website it looks all distorted and stretched. The only way I can’t get it to look normal is not use that width or height percentage, but it’s a huge help to use that, so how can I use it and still look good?
September 26, 2015 at 3:54 pm #509532Hey ibmethatswhoib!
Your talking about the LayerSlider correct? Are you not wanting it to be fullwidth? When you click on the “Slider Settings” tab you can remove the fullwidth option.
Take a screenshot and highlight your intentions so we can get a better idea of what your trying to do.
Best regards,
ElliottSeptember 28, 2015 at 9:00 pm #510398Yes I’m talking about the LayerSlider. I wanted full-width but I could even do without it if it looks good. I tried both full-width and not full-width and it’s having problems. So here is the screenshot below, when I’m working on it in the slider it looks great, also when I enter preview it looks great. It’s just when it’s published live on the site it looks stretched. So I believe it’s happening because of me putting percentages like I was saying above, when I shrink the actual photo to the perfect size it works fine without doing percentages of size. I would do that but it takes forever to find the perfect size doing that. Any help is appreciated.
The distorted slider http://snag.gy/Z50aH.jpg See the bus and interior pic for what’s wrong.
*Also it looks stretched and wrong on multiple browsers.

September 28, 2015 at 9:31 pm #510413Hi!
May we have temporary admin access to your website so we can take a closer look at your layerslider settings?
Best regards,
DakeSeptember 28, 2015 at 10:28 pm #510424Yes here it is in the Private Content Link Below. Take not it’s the 2nd and 3rd slide for the home slider that are the issues.
September 29, 2015 at 6:28 pm #510919Hey!
you are using an old version of the theme. Please upgrade to Enfold v3.3.2. (as it will also upgrade layerslider as well).
Best regards,
AndySeptember 30, 2015 at 8:39 pm #511812I upgraded and that didn’t fix it for some reason. Also now the menu on the top is messed up, but I can probably figure that out.
*Fixed the menu, just need to fix the slider now.

October 2, 2015 at 7:42 pm #512987Hey!
quite difficult to understand which settings you are talking about in your layer slider. Could you highlight using screenshots please? show us about which settings you are talking about. Use imgur.com or dropbox.
Cheers!
AndyOctober 2, 2015 at 9:48 pm #513044So I just want to shrink my original image in the slider. Here is the before without the Layout & Positions Width Adjusting
http://snag.gy/C2jeh.jpgNow here is the adjusting the picture by 50% width and the picture looks great in the preview.
So now below is what it looks like on the website, not so good. But in the preview it looked great, so that’s my issue. I also trying adjusting the height percentage to match the height percentage and that looks distorted.
I’m not sure why it looks great in the preview but not good on the website, I’m having a hard time adjusting and making it look good on the website after I save it.

October 2, 2015 at 10:31 pm #513055Hey!
You need to place the slider image correctly, try to use the original image sizes and not resize it for any reason
Regards,
BasilisOctober 2, 2015 at 10:42 pm #513062But shouldn’t the adjusting by 50% work? That’s what it’s there for, if I don’t use that I have to resize the image put it in the slider see if that works. If it doesn’t then I have to keep resizing and uploading new pics until it works. Seems like that function should work and maybe I’m doing something wrong or there is a way to fix it. I did place the slider image correctly, I placed it where I want it and it looks good in the preview. Thanks for the response but there has to be a better way than resizing all my pics and having to resize each one perfectly over and over instead of just using the adjust by a certain percentage.
October 5, 2015 at 6:33 am #513489Hey!
Regarding this screenshot: http://snag.gy/iikGZ.jpg
Adjust the top position of the layer and set the height to auto: http://snag.gy/ggzPg.jpg
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 6, 2015 at 8:08 pm #514726Thanks for that suggestion, I did what you said and changed it to this http://snag.gy/uKwta.jpg
But it still turned out like this http://snag.gy/dix8r.jpg
I’m probably close, just can’t figure out what’s wrong.
October 9, 2015 at 9:43 am #516269Hey!
Actually, the image is a bit too large for the slider (2000px width) so, if possible, please upload a smaller image. I have to set the width to 500px. Check it now: http://refreshstate.com/
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 9, 2015 at 8:07 pm #516651You’re the man!! The one who figured it out, thanks. It’s putting it in as pixels solved it, YES! Thanks so much man.
