Our website will not detect and install the theme update to 4.5.5. It seems to be stuck at 4.5.3. I have verified the Envato token once again, and check manually, but nothing is there. However it updated fine on one of the staging sites. Why does this not work again as it should?
April 1, 2019 at 6:14 am #1085277Hey Illingco,
I’m not really sure why that’s happening.
Here’s a workaround to update Enfold (make sure to have a backup first):
1. Switch to a default wordpress theme like twentynineteen
2. Delete the Enfold theme
3. Upload the latest version of Enfold (enfold.zip) then set it as the active theme again.Best regards,
NikkoApril 4, 2019 at 8:43 pm #1087210This should not be the solution. This should update within WP the way it’s supposed to, otherwise Kriesi should know why it’s not. Does anyone else know why this might be happening?

RikardApril 9, 2019 at 5:28 pm #1088746I have sent details for our staging site first. Please indicate what the problems are, and we can move on to the live site when I know your attempts have been successful.
April 10, 2019 at 11:31 am #1089097Hi,
Thanks for that, are you using the same token for the staging and for the live site? If so then that might be the problem, please try removing the token from one of the sites to see if that helps.
Best regards,
RikardApril 10, 2019 at 3:41 pm #1089160I was using the same token and have removed it and tried again on the live site. Still nothing. Please advise further.
April 11, 2019 at 1:41 pm #1089548Hi,
I’m not sure to be honest with you, it seems to be working fine for the vast majority of our users so it’s likely something local to your site. Could you contact your hosting provider to make sure that they are not blocking traffic from api.envato.com or cron-jobs?
Best regards,
RikardApril 11, 2019 at 3:44 pm #1089592I have contacted them, but I very much doubt they are blocking anything, as I was able to update on our Staging 2 copy, but not Staging 3 or live site…
April 11, 2019 at 3:49 pm #1089594Indeed they have verified everything is working properly on their end and nothing is blocked…

VictoriaApril 17, 2019 at 3:35 pm #1092041This was taking too long and I was not getting any answers, so I updated via FTP manually. Seems to have worked. But this should not be the way updates need to be run…
April 17, 2019 at 3:49 pm #1092050Hi,
Even though it states that plugin takes place automatically since WordPress 4.9 – https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/, on my local installation i had to install it once and clear transients to receive auto updates. If you do not receive notification for upcoming update, please let us know so we can check once again with the plugin :)
Cheers!
YigitMay 14, 2019 at 4:54 pm #1100676Still not auto updating from 4.6 to 4.7, except on one staging site. Any more ideas?

May 18, 2019 at 9:15 pm #1102092Hi Illingco,
There is not Enfold 4.7, there is only 4.5.7 for now. Do you mean update process is not working?
Best regards,
VictoriaMay 20, 2019 at 3:12 pm #1102492I meant from 4.5.6 to 4.5.7. Yes, the update process once again does not work at all.
May 22, 2019 at 9:39 pm #1103460Hi,
Yes, we have fixed the issue – it might need to update manually although for this update please.
Best regards,
