After much experimenting I have reached an acceptable solution for an issue (that I posted six months ago) but am writing to give you my observations on some quirky behaviours when trying to apply some rgba values to colours in the Theme Options.
The site was all fine to start with but after some while, I guess after some update, it started displaying at a width (1010px) other than the one I had assigned (1310px),
After much experiment I have found that I can get away with an rgba value in Logo Area background color but if I put an rgba value in the Logo tab for Alternate Background color or for Border colors then I now get my 1310 width in Chrome, Opera and Safari, but not in Firefox or Internet Explorer. That is fine, I just have a slightly heavier underlining than I would want but that is all.
Another observation: I have used rgba values in various Color Sections by cutting and pasting a value rgba(0,0,0,0) into the custom background color box., If I assign a solid color to the Logo Area background color then these transparent Color Sections become a solid color also.

It would be best to use a hex color, #FF00AA, etc etc. The reason your using rgba is because you want some opacity? Send us a link to your page and take a screenshot highlighting the exact changes your trying to do.
Cheers!

June 23, 2015 at 7:01 pm #463559Hi!
Which version of Enfold are you using? Starting from version 3.2 color picker accepts RGBA values. If you have not tested with it yet, please do so :)

YigitJune 23, 2015 at 8:10 pm #463624I have v.3.2 but they are still affecting the page width. I’m about to put v.3.2.1
I don’t see the difference, rgba cannot be selected and when I try to type in an rgba value it reverts to rgb when I type the first comma or space. I have to cut and paste them in as I was doing before.June 29, 2015 at 7:21 pm #466026Hi!
please use Enfold v3.2.2., as it should work with this version. Clear browser cache and refresh a few times. Try to deactivate all plugins. Send us admin login if it’s not working for you.
Best regards,
