June 28, 2013 at 6:56 am #127095Hi,
Let me tag Devin. The theme is compatible with mobile devices especially those with OS X or MAC OS.

July 2, 2013 at 5:45 pm #127096Hi rickswearingen,
I’ve only got the newest retina ipad which doesn’t give me any issues. I’m guessing that *maybe* there is a hardware issue with the depth of the content loading in. Perhaps its the layerslider or just how much content the home page has.
Do you get the same issues on the sub pages? Try http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/features/ and http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/headers/

July 9, 2013 at 2:31 am #127097Thanks Devin.
It appears that most pages (in fact all pages) with the exception of the home page are working fine on the iPad. The home page includes a slider. The page loads approx. 70% through then crashes Safari. I can always remove the layer slider but would prefer not to have to. The slider currently only has one frame and should not cause this sort of problem. I also have also crunched the files in the slider to the lowest possible size.
July 9, 2013 at 2:40 am #127098I have tested the site with no slider on the Home page and still crash the site. So in other words it seems to be something else causing the Home page crash with Safari on the iPad first ten.
I should add that this does not seem to be a problem on an iPhone
July 9, 2013 at 3:13 pm #127099Hi,
Increase the wordpress php memory limit, see if it fixes the issue.

July 9, 2013 at 7:34 pm #127100I really thought you were on to something as it loaded on my iPad one time after the increase in memory however it did not load again after that. I appreciate your help and really hope to get past this issue as I think this is definitely one of the better templates available.
July 9, 2013 at 9:14 pm #127101BTW,
Did i mention i have the same problem if i go to http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/ with my iPad.
It crashes Safari as well so I don’t believe it is a problem with the memory allocation.
July 10, 2013 at 4:09 am #127102I’ve tagged the topic for Kriesi to take a look at. I’m not sure if its an issue of the first gen not having enough hardware to run the layerslider/theme functionality or what but he is the only one of us that has the ability to test for it.

Devin
July 10, 2013 at 1:24 pm #127103Thanks Devin,
I did do a bit of testing and it appears to work fine if I remove a few of the elements of the page. I have used the same home page setup as your demo on ThemeForest. It does not seem to matter what order I remove the elements (i.e. I can remove layerslider and testimonials and it will work or I can remove the 3 1/3 section and the about us and mobile ready and it will work). This makes me believe that it is struggling with all of those elements on one page at a time. I also believe it struggles with how the animation on graphics seem to load then reload with a white flash in between (I don’t have a better way of explaining that).
Thanks for time and with tagging Kriesi on this.
July 11, 2013 at 7:27 pm #127104That make sense actually. The initial iPad release isn’t quite as robust as even most smartphones are today with its hardware so a layerslider with multiple slides plus a couple of other items that use javascript would probably cause issues all piled up together.
