Site has been working great for months. All of the sudden today – seeing shortcodes instead of content all over the site. Help!!
Everything is up to date. Nothing has been updated today.

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
In addition to that, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate one or more of your plugins as well for testing purposes :)Best regards,
YigitI deactivated the plugins one by one and found that NextGEN Gallery was the plugin causing the issue. It is now deactivated and the site works fine (except for the NextGEN galleries). If you want to look around in that plugin, you have my permission to do so.

Yes, it seems that Next Gen is creating some issues.
Please consider to go to a previous version and do contact with the plugin developers to let us know the issue and if it is something thta we can do from our side.Thanks a lot

Basilisokay, thats a problem now, because its not so easy to do:
the nextgen support says
“Given the additional details, is this just the Enfold “av” based shortcodes you are having issues with? We are in no way qualified to provide support for the Enfold theme or any of its functionality so as much specifics as possible is really helpful for us to try to find where the root of the problem is at.”
