    Hi
    I am experiencing a loading issue whereby when my site loads for the first time it seems to be missing a JS script that makes it function properly.
    On a mobile device the menu won’t respond and the first four images dont draw correctly (only show half) on initial page load.The only resolution is to refresh – then suddenly everything works. https://swarezart.com
    If you click on a painting (Portfolio page type) then the page loads fine but the images won’t load in the lightbox function until the page is refreshed – so this is maybe telling me that something isn’t loading on initial page load.
    I have WP Rocket and Asset Cleaner pro inbstalled but with the second plugin I havent made any additional changes to elminating scripts I don’t use since it was working properly last time.
    Now I have no idea how to diagnose – is there any way you can help?

    Thank you for your prompt response – much appreciated…
    I just set up a new iPad and the problem is there… I have shot a small video for you here.
    Lightbox won’t function until some other action is complete. Fresh Safari on fresh iPad Pro.

    Thanks for the update. What happens if you clear the cache and temporarily deactivate WP Rocket?

    Apologies for the delay
    I have temporarliy disbanled WP Rocket and the issue still apears on some pages but not others. It all seems to come down to that first press or page refresh – once you do that it all works. Sam on the iPad… not sure what to do…

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. Did you test with private browser windows? There’s nothing in the theme which would load scripts on some pages, but not on others.

    Yes i did test on private browser windows and the problem remains.
    So let me ask you – what script do you think might be missing that rpevents lthe lightbox from functioning until a refrseh is done?
    I use Asset Cleaner pro which I use to strip out all the unessecary code from the theme – I haven’t unticked anything more since everything was working okay so it may be wise for me to go and check everything again.

    Hi,

    Did you select to load Javascrip async or in the footer maybe? If so, then please try to deactivate any such options. You could also start from scratch with the plugins, simply uncheck everything and activate one option at a time to see when the problem starts again.
