See http://requirementsinc.com/private-data/err.doc
http://requirementsinc.com/Navigation is transparent in Firefox and IE (although it appears okay in some Firefox!)
Also the icons show up as japanese like characters.
Please help, as the site is already up and running.
October 17, 2013 at 7:15 am #176889Hello shriii!
You have an issue with the uploads folder https://requirementsinc.com/wp-content/uploads/, you need to make it writable.
Regards,
JosueOctober 17, 2013 at 7:48 pm #177146I had it as 755.already. ISnt that sufficient?
October 17, 2013 at 7:53 pm #177150Also, I see that wordpress has been placing auto-created thumbnails with timestamps as recent as 10/15, so I’m guessing that the directory is writable by wordpress.
October 17, 2013 at 10:22 pm #177186Hi!
I see the problem is regarding the styles being called in the wrong protocol (https):
HTTPS:
HTTP:
Have you modified something to make this behavior? can you disable it?
Best regards,
JosueOctober 22, 2013 at 6:07 am #178873I recently upgraded to a server with SSL but the SSL was not activated. I didnt expect it to impact by site in general so thanks for your guidance.
The transparency problem has been taken care of.
However, the problem with ‘asian looking’ characters still remains. This happens only in IE.October 22, 2013 at 12:10 pm #179005October 23, 2013 at 5:35 am #179464The screenshot was in the word doc I shared earlier.http://requirementsinc.com/private-data/err.doc
I reuploaded here http://imgur.com/yvihZgJOctober 23, 2013 at 6:26 am #179485Hi!
Have you tried using the default icons included on the theme? I visited the site using IE8. The icons shows fine. The square box is normal be cause IE8 doesn’t fully support border radius.
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 23, 2013 at 7:04 am #179510I am using IE 9. Square icons would work, but what about the weird characters that show up in my screenshot?
I am using all default icons only.
Also notice blank box in the social area in my screenshot.
